From the work itself
to the bigger picture.

I work in manufacturing operations at AST SpaceMobile in Midland, Texas. My responsibilities have developed through production control and operations performance into leadership of distribution centers and materials.

My work spans material readiness, receiving, storage, kitting, inventory accuracy, and the coordination needed to support production. Operational stabilization brings these activities together through clearer priorities, dependable transactions, and consistent follow-through.

This work shapes my interest in the relationship between strategic priorities, operating discipline, and the conditions teams need to perform.

At Saint-Gobain, I worked in facilities engineering within a manufacturing environment, building on my background in reliability, project delivery, and operational improvement.

The role connected technical infrastructure with the everyday requirements of a functioning operation. It strengthened my perspective on how engineering decisions influence the people and processes that depend on them.

I bring that connection between technical decisions and operational needs into my writing on capabilities, change, and investment.

My time at Toyota included work across ERP and SAP project management, facilities engineering, and reliability. It brought enterprise technology and the physical operation into the same professional frame.

That combination developed my interest in how systems, maintenance practices, information, and ways of working support manufacturing performance. It also informs how I think about project delivery and the people who take responsibility for a system once it is in use.

The relationship between technology and the operating environment remains central to my approach to transformation.

Earlier work in manufacturing at Hematite and as an IT specialist at ECOWAS formed part of my foundation in technical and organizational environments.

These experiences sit behind a career that has continued to cross engineering, information systems, and the practical organization of work.

They contribute to my interest in understanding a problem across functions before deciding how to address it.

Earlier in my career, I worked as a neural-network researcher at the University of Ottawa. This experience forms part of the research foundation behind my work in engineering and technology.

My research background also includes coauthored work on model-based filtering and compression of oscillometric blood-pressure pulses, published at IEEE MeMeA in 2016. Read the publication details below.

That background informs my interest in how data, models, and engineering methods can address practical problems.

I founded Foothills in Canada as a manufacturing advisory and consulting firm focused on operational excellence.

The firm subsequently expanded into oil and gas, supporting project management, project execution, and turnarounds. This progression brought its manufacturing and operational excellence foundation into another industrial setting.

Foothills is a separate business. This personal website is the home for my own writing, resources, speaking, and individual advisory work.
